| Any dog owner/handler who is capable of working their dog in obedience at a reasonable standard, and in a manner whereby it will not interfere with the working of other dogs is welcome to join the club. During the summer months the club forms an obedience and agility dog team. |

| The team performs by invitation at fetes, carnivals and agricultural shows as a means of raising funds for charity. In recent years the team has been sponsored by John Burns Pet Food. These shows usually result in a social day out. As the club is registered with the Kennel Club, good citizen examinations are held twice a year. |
